Alstonville win Womens Premiers Anzac Cup!In the Women’s Callan McMillan Shield finals, Alstonville reversed last years result with a 3-2 win over Richmond Rovers in the A division. Alstonville Bow Out Of Anzac CupByron Bay will now meet Goonellabah in the Anzac Day final at Oakes Oval, after the Hornets 3-1 extra time win over a plucky Alstonville in the other semi. Villa led 1-0 at half-time thanks to a well-taken goal from striker Joel Perkins, but Goonellabah took the game into extra time with a second-half goal from captain Matt Dorigo. |
